Metalsmithing for Jewellers
(Silver Bangle project) level I
Create an endless variety of jewellery shapes by learning to hand forge copper silver or gold. Forging is an ancient technique where specialized hammers and anvils are used to shape metal.
In this workshop, with just a few tools ,students will create a silver bangle while learning the basic technique of hand forging. No prior jewellery experience necessary.
Gerhard Herbst has over 25 years professional experience in designing and producing his unique style of hand forged jewellery for the market. His work is currently sold in leading jewellery stores and galleries through out Australia New Zealand and North America
