Metalsmithing for Jewellers
(Shapes and forms) level I
Create an endless variety of jewellery shapes by learning to hand forge copper silver or gold. Forging is an ancient technique where specialized hammers and anvils are used to shape metal.
During this one day workshop “Exploring Shapes and Forms” students will learn how to rivet, solder .and produce a wide range of earrings and pendants shapes by bending and hammering metal.
Gerhard Herbst has over 25 years professional experience in designing and producing his unique style of hand forged jewellery for the market. His work is currently sold in leading jewellery stores and galleries through out Australia New Zealand and North America
